Lewis Baltz imitations

I tried to imitate lewis Baltz pictures and style. I used mostly black and white pictures
about modern buildings around the school. i also tried to use different
angles to show depth and reflection off the buildings.

  1. All of your pictures are nice. My favorite is your last one. I feel like that one shows the most depth.

  2. I see the black and white effect in place, but I don't really see how some of these shots reflect depth, like the garage door for example.

  3. I like how you incorporated geometric shapes into all of your photos in a different way. My particular favorite is your second photo because I like the different shapes and colors of the windows, it creates an artistic look.

  5. Nice Photos Long Long. I THink that your photos are amazing. I especially liked the one of the new apartment building on California. i think that your angle was very good and that maybe in your next series you could try that with a different angle on different building.

  7. This is a great start of exploring Lewis Baltz work. I think you accomplished your goal here showing different angles presenting depth and reflection off the buildings. Also the changes from color to black and white photography helps the viewer understand your experimentation with this style.

  8. i like the contrast in the last photo and the tilted perspective. I think you could have emulated his style more than you did. He tends to shoot straight on a subject, focusing on lines, geometry, and contrast
