Portraits

















I tried to show his emotions through his 
expression and gestures.

  1. If you ask me, they aren't the most flattering pictures you could have chosen, but then again, that was not what we were going for. I never really noticed how different it is when trying to go from the "say cheese" face to actually letting my own complexion be genuine to what I am feeling. Good shots.

  4. Great start Long Long! This is a cohesive set of portraits set in black and white presenting different moods through changes in facial expression. I really like how you stepped away from having the model pose and captured the natural expression of the model.

  5. Great Start. I think that you did a great job of the black and white and using the blank background. However i feel as though some of the pictures of Kyle seem very posed to me. i think that you could maybe work on creating a set that is a little less posed.

  7. i like these photos because they show many of kyles emotions. my favorites are 2 and 5, which show that he has a serious and a playful side. these would look good juxtaposed
