motion pictures and light in dark rooms

i tried to show motion in my pictures by lowering the shutter speed
while taking my photos.
A fan made of light
A lightsaber duel

Beautiful lights in a figure 8 pattern
Colors shooting out of a hand
A multi layered red infinite sign
Interesting light patterns in the dark

  1. The first photo here is really strong. One suggestion is possibly expanding you're approach to this series beyond just blurring things.

  2. This is a great portrayal of motion photography as the subject is blurred creating an interesting pattern and theme. One thing I would focus on is trying to night blow out the whites in certain images because it makes it hard to follow the subject. Great job!

  3. I really like what you did with these photos. I like that you not only created shapes with the shutter speed of your camera, but also with moving the object itself. Maybe think about adding more people in the shots that are not dark.

  6. I like how you can't really tell what all of your pictures are. I especially like your light painting photos.

  7. Light painting pictures were sick. The patterns were all very interesting and you seem to have a taste for light painting.

  9. I really enjoy these pictures. the one i like the most is the infinite sign because it looks like the person behind the light is controlling light.

  10. Great job experimenting with patterns of light. You did a nice job letting go of realism and voyaging into some surreal realms.
